SERVING THE PEOPLE OF ANGOLA SINCE 1989
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) has been serving the people of Angola since 1989, helping Angolans both during and following the civil war which lasted from 1975-2002. We are still in Angola to this day, using a single Cessna Caravan (D2-WOH – Wings of Hope) and two SMA (Diesel) powered Cessna 182’s.
Together with our team of pilots and aircraft maintenance engineers, we offer safe and efficient travel for church and humanitarian workers in Angola. Put our dedicated team to work for you. Contact us for your travel quote today!

MAF: Making an impact in Angola for over 30 years.
Over 4 million Angolans are currently without healthcare of any sort. MAF has helped to bridge that gap by providing emergency medevac services and delivering treated mosquito nets and medicines to remote communities. MAF also provides doctors, nurse practitioners, midwives, and other healthcare workers eith greater access to rural and hard to reach communities in Angola.
We’ve helped to bring theological training to the rural areas of Angola through a partnership with the Instituto Superior Tealogica Evangelica do Lubango (IESTEL), as well as flying missionaries, Indigenous pastors, and partner mission organizations.
In recent years, MAF has invested in the construction of airstrips in strategic rural locations throughout Angola, helping our partner agencies reach communities that had no previous access to any form of healthcare or Christian witness.
Throughout our history of service in Angola, MAF has supported our partners in peace building and development which has helped to enable former enemies to come together to work towards peaceful co-existence, facilitating the improvement and development of their local communities, which along with other reforms, has helped Angola to become a more developed and stable nation.
Additionally, MAF has helped to support food production projects through partner agencies who are working with communities to encourage trade and develop markets that generate income and improve standards of living. MAF has also transported emergency food rations to communities during seasons of drought and famine.
MAF Angola is part of the global organization known as Mission Aviation Fellowship and plays an important role in that shared history.
